（芙蓉11日訊）武吉甲巴央山頂印度廟前的非法挖地事件，引起約40名爬山者不滿，並響應森州民主行動黨拉橫幅抗議行動，希望事件能在一星期內解決。
森州民主行動黨宣傳秘書謝琪清一行人，今早7時許前往武吉甲巴央山頂印度廟展開拉橫幅行動，謝氏更聲明若在一星期內芙蓉市議會未能解決有關問題，他們將展開召集更大型集會，以表達對此事的不滿。
冀當局全天候駐守
謝琪清前往巡視印度廟時，發現許多硬設備被破壞。謝琪清今早在記者會上說，有關事件于10月30日揭發迄今已有13天，然而卻未有一個解決方案。
他指出，他非常讚賞芙蓉市議會主席拿督阿都哈林昨午前往巡視時，立即下令停止挖地的果斷決定，惟非常遺憾的是，芙蓉市議會官員並不是24小時駐守在該處。
印度廟設備被破壞
謝氏透露，他于昨晚11時許前往上述地點時，擁有3名官員駐守，惟據瞭解至到凌晨1時后，官員就沒有再駐守，而于今早7時30分左右才有官員駐守該處。
他說，雖然有關當局尋求該處的守衛給予協助，在發現挖地工程繼續進行時立即通知，不過，在現階段中，除了命令停工外，最好的方式是暫時派官員24小時駐守，畢竟等別人通知時，已太晚了。
他透露，他本身已有4次前往印度廟瞭解挖地事件，所看到的挖掘工程已把土地越挖越大，情況令人非常擔憂，尤其是在下雨時，后果更是不堪設想。
他說，這項挖地事件也造成印度廟許多硬體設備，如椅子等皆遭破壞。
“希望芙蓉市議會盡快解決有關事件，不然我們將會展開一項更大型集會作出來抗議此事件。”
