森州民主行动党秘书谢琪清今日“挺”森华堂主席刘志文，并认为在政党活跃的领袖，就不应该同时活跃于华团。
他说，在上周行动党与森华堂的交流会中，刘志文认同，如果华团最高领袖同时在政党担任要职，但政府对华社有不公平的措施时，该名领袖的立场应该在哪里？用什么立场发言？
他是于今日的一项记者会上，针对一名政党领袖批评刘志文的言论一事，作出上述谈话。
被批评者对号入座 他说：“有一名政客对号入座，批评刘志文，显示批评的人心虚，成为一个有责任的从政者，必须要厘清道理，党是党、华团是华团，不应该以一统天下的心态，控制华团及左右华团的操作。
他说，该党一直来的立场是所有华团必须超越政党，但不超越政治，而陆兆福在交流会会也强调，如果下届大选民联执政，该党还是会秉持着同样的原则。
他说，如果政党及华团领袖都是同一人，对华社是不公平
